Texas Longhorns.........

I just wanted to say that I've been watching this team all year long and they have impressed me tremendously with the way they win the close games. They've been doing it all year long and that WILL carry over into the tournament next month..barring any serious injuries. I'm just calling right now that I think they are a definite sleeper in the tourney to get very far...possibly final four! I know it all depends on who's in the brackets, but they have the speed, the size, and the shooters to do it. Defense isn't that bad as well. They usually get knocked out early somehow, but not this year...they are a very deep team. Just thought I'd share this with anyone who's interested enough to read it. I can't wait until tourney time!!! Watch the Longhorns!!

Their only real weakness is a lack of athletic ability. When they played Duke and Arizona they got killed cause they just couldn't match up. Since then however, Barnes has played a lot of zone and has really put his team in a position to excel. I am a Texas fan and feel fully confident whenever they are in a close game. I would have had no problem doubling up on Texas at halftime of tonight's game. A key will obviously be their game at Ok State a week from Monday. Ok State is a very good athletic team. I think it will very tough for Texas to win that game but their toughness in that game will tell me whether they are a good tourney team (maybe sweet 16) or a final four team.
